COURTHOUSES REMAIN SOME OF THE MOST VULNERABLE PUBLIC BUILDINGS IN THE COUNTRY. From riots and demonstrations to attempts to burn down occupied federal courthouses, and in today’s dangerous society, our court personnel and visitors must be protected from interruption, coercion, and even overt force.

We provide specialized armed security to more than 450 federal, state and local courthouses nationwide. From the highest court in the U.S. to every federal court in 47 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan to small county courthouses and local justice agencies, our Court Security Officer (CSO) program has a reputation for successfully deterring, mitigating and responding to crisis while securing the judiciary and court families, especially during high-profile cases like El Chapo, R. Kelly, Hunter Biden and Donald J. Trump.

Walden Security's certified trainers deliver site-specific, initial, and ongoing refresher training to our court security officers covering topics such as Access Control, Vehicle Searches, Weapons Training, various non-lethal weapons, use-of-force measures, and handling sensitive items and equipment. In addition, screening equipment training, including x-ray machines, magnetometers, and hand-held screening devices, is provided and designed to prepare for, enhance, and reinforce our ability to secure a site and the population. Our training is provided at our state-of-the-art Walden Training Academy and by over 500 field training officers nationwide.

In today’s environment, terrorism and criminal activity are key factors impacting our safety and security.They especially have an impact on our governmental system where any degree of disruption achieves ahighly visible, sensational, and immediate impact. Our Health and Human Services HHS system,especially the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with bio-level 4 labs, is not immune tothese threats, whether they come from criminals or terrorists. Our HHS security experience includes theCDC headquarters and associated research centers and lab facilities in Atlanta, GA and also the CDCfacilities in Fort Collins, CO.

Walden certified trainers deliver site-specific, initial, and ongoing refresher training to our security officerscovering topics such as: Access control through ingress and egress points, physical security ofGovernment facilities, vehicle searches, weapons training and qualification (handguns), various non-lethalweapons training and certification, use-of- force measures, and handling of sensitive items andequipment.
